I’m terribly sorry for being so dense!!! I signed up to follow your blog, but I don’t see any password. The “Follow” box acknowledges that I’ve been subscribed, but there wasn’t anything about a password for the bonus materials. Again, I’m terribly sorry for being a pain !!
No, I’m sorry it’s been difficult! I’m not sure why the password is not showing. It’s Nuances. 🙂 Let me know if you are having any more issues and I am very glad you wanted to join us. Laura
Thank you so very much … that worked perfectly … I thought I had been doing something wrong. I *really* like your site … and the idea behind it … GREAT content and *very* easy to understand and follow. Thank you.

This site is brilliant and much appreciated but I am having trouble finding the password too. Can you help please? Thanks, Kathy
Hi Kathy, I added it in a comment below. It ‘should’ also be at the very bottom of the home page next to “you are following this blog”.
Thank you. I thought I’d looked everywhere. Obviously not!
This is a great site, so glad I found it
Thanks Cindy! I’m having a lot of fun and planning for lots of new ideas and patterns!
Pingback: Woven Cast On Perfect for Hats, Socks, Everything | Knitting Nuances
Hi Laura, I read and reread the tutorial about the woven cast on but not comprehending. Is there anything like a video tutorial that is out there to watch? I’m a bit dense at times and sometimes require a visual aid. Thank you in advance.
Carla,
We have added a video for the Woven Cast On to the Bonus Materials page for blog followers. It’s just the first of a series I am planning. This one in particular will be very helpful. Laura
Watched both videos. Very interesting. Am anxious to try one or the other on my next project. Welcome back. We missed you. 🙂

How do I find the blog? Each time I had try to join, I was taken to Word Press page and asked to sign up for a paid subscription for a web page. Now I have a confirmation that I’ve joined, but don’t know how to find the blog. Does it come in an email, do I have to look at a website each day to see if something was posted? Sorry, newbie-and-trying-gamely.
Hi! You can find the blog at blog.knittingnuances.com. I am not sure where you were being redirected to. Everything here is definitely free! I just checked and you did successfully ‘follow’ the blog. Now you will get an email whenever there is a new post. I was away so there will be a new one as soon as I settle back in. Thanks for joining us. Laura
Love your web sites new set up. Makes it much easier to find everything. Also reading the material gives me inspiration in using new techniques ( at least they are new to me.) Glad you are feeling better. Hopefully, the Lyme disease will not have any lasting effects. Thank you for sharing your knitting knowledge with the rest of us. 🙂
Carla, thanks for the kind note. I happen to be going through another round of Lyme treatment now. Each time seems to get better but not cure the little bugger, so I have set backs. Always hopeful. Thanks again. Laura

You definitely do not need to pay anything or have WordPress. You want to follow with your email address. I just checked and your email is registered so you are successfully following! Laura

Thanks Marie! I have so much fun doing it! Laura
Love your blog!
I cannot get into the bonus materials section of your blog. I’ve subscribed and your system tells me that I am following you, but I do not see a password anywhere. I also checked for your comment in the comment section regarding this, but I don’t see anything that tells me what to do. Please advise.
Carole, I wish I could figure out why some readers have no problems and other a ton of them. It’s on the WordPress side and I just don’t know how to fix that. Sorry for the confusion and frustration.
The password is Nuances with a capital N.
🙂 Laura

Just had an 86 year old student who took three classes from me. Never to old! 🙂
I’ve searched high and low for the button to follow the blog and can’t find it. It is neither to the right nor at the bottom. What gives? Can you just add me?
I cannot find the button to follow the blog,HELP PLEASE!!
Hi Jenny, It is at the bottom of the home page or on the side of individual post pages. Hope this helps! Laura
Trying to knit Brim Hat but need a lot t of assistance. I’m in Knitting Paradise group also. This hat is for my daughter which is the first time she ask me to make her a hat. This pattern is special for her. So I need all help I can have.
Hi. Let me know if there is anything specific you need explained in the pattern. Laura
I saw the brim hat and I fell in love instantly, m. Trying to see if I can make this beautiful hat for my daughter which to me this pattern is very precious to me and she is precious to me. I’m a visual learner I’m trying to do this hat. Can’t wait for January videos for your beautiful Brim Hat.
I get your email updates, but I’m not sure if that means I’m a blog follower…I don’t have a functioning laptop at this point and do everything on my phone.
How do I find the directions for the Showy Decrease? I keep reading about it and finally have time to give it a try, but haven’t a clue how to find it…
I love how your projects look and can’t wait to do your latest hat.
Thanks, Connie Byrne

Hi Connie. I would try the Manchester Scarf. It is free on Ravelry and has matching right and left leaning decreases so you will be able to see why the Showy Decrease is so great. https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/manchester-scarf
I like what I see! Good tips and novel ideas!
Loved your presentation of different types of ribbing for brims (or legwarmers, in my case). It will make the difference between an ‘ok’ project and a professional project.
Looking forward to improving my knitting!
